The closest rental communities are located to the northeast of French Camp in the Venice Circle area.

Estate is bounded on the north and south by waterways. Estate is bounded on the east by West Side Freeway and on the west by Thornton Road. The Estate neighborhood is home to Laughlin and Sandman Parks. The parks offer a variety of amenities including shaded areas to picnic in, playgrounds, walking and bike trails, and open green space for flying kites. The housing stock in Estate is varied and includes single family homes and apartment communities. Sherwood's Manor is an apartment community near the center of the neighborhood. Tomspur is a neighborhood bounded on the east by NW Lane and Purple Heart Veterans Highway to the west. Tomspur is a sprawling neighborhood with pockets of residential areas. There are single family homes in the area; however, there are few if any rental properties.

Morado is a neighborhood bounded by North Sacramento Road to the east, West Lane to the west, 8 Mile Road to the north and East Hammer Lane to the south. Morado is heavily populated with apartment and condo communities as well as homes for rent or lease. The majority of the residential community is located at the southern section of the neighborhood.

Valley Oak is bounded by West Lane to the east, East Hammer Lane to the south, Holman Road to the west, and East Morado Lane to the north. At the center of Valley Oak is Valvedere Park. Lincoln Village West is bounded on the east by West Benjamin Holt Drive, Pacific Avenue to the west and West Swain Road to the south and Interstate 5 to the east.
