Buckhead is an uptown district within the city of Atlanta, Georgia, United States and comprising approximately the northern one-fifth of the city. Buckhead could be characterized as mostly suburban in character, with a highly urbanized center with many high-rises centered along its major corridors. Sometimes referred to as the "Beverly Hills of the South", Buckhead is an internationally renowned shopping district with more than 1,400 retail units where shoppers spend more than $1 billion annually. Buckhead contains the highest concentration of upscale boutiques in the United States. Historically the primary shopping district comprises Phipps Plaza and Lenox Square; sister regional malls located diagonally across Peachtree Road and Lenox Road from each other. Buckhead has both notable public and private schools, and several degree earning institutions within its borders.

Sandy Springs is a city in north Georgia, and an affluent suburb located directly north of Atlanta. It is the sixth-largest city in the state, and the second-largest city in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Although it does not resemble a traditional downtown, the area around bounded by Abernathy Road to the north, I-285 to the south, and Sandy Springs Circle and Hildebrand Drive on the west and east is defined by the city and business groups as "Downtown Sandy Springs." Fine dining, antique shops, night clubs, bars, and quaint shops can be found in pockets throughout the Sandy Springs neighborhood. There is lots of greenspace to be taken advantage of, and numerous apartment and condo communities with great amenities included. Sandy Springs is served by both the rail systems and bus line.

Midtown is the second largest financial district in the city of Atlanta, Georgia, situated between the commercial and financial districts of Downtown and SoNo to the south and the affluent residential and commercial district of Buckhead to the north. Containing one third of the cities high rises, intermixed with landmark institutions, Midtown is home to the High Arts Museum, Fox Theatre, and a number of art and cultural destinations. Inman Park is the first planned suburb of the city of Atlanta. Inman Park is listed with the National Registry for Historic Sites. Beautiful Victorian homes sprinkle the landscape of Inman, which provides an interesting contrast to the high rises of the city, just two miles away. Inman Park has lots of green spaces, walking trails, and parks, and new park areas are under construction. Castleberry Hill is a neighborhood in central Atlanta, Georgia located adjacent to and southwest of the Central Business District. It is a federally recognized historic district since 1985 and became a City of Atlanta Landmark District in 2006. It also contains the Castleberry Hill Art District. In recent years, the area has experienced an influx of residents and new businesses. The area near the intersection of Peters Street and Walker Street is home to a growing number of small art galleries, restaurants, and loft residences. Castlebery Hill is within walking distance of Centennial Olympic Park, and is an interesting and quirky overlap of turn-of-the-century industrialism and modern-day warehouse chic. The area also offers pristine local shopping with eclectic and high end options interspersed. Castleberry Hills has both good public and private schools.

Little Five Points is the bohemian mecca of Georgia. Located 2 1/2 miles east of downtown, Little Five Points is a community of arts, culture, quaint shops, street vendors, coffee and novelty shops and a diverse population that has an appreciation for the eclectic. Little Five Points (or L5P) has been the in-town epicenter of all things alternative for many years. This is a thriving business district with a wide array of shops and services. From futons to frisbees and crystals to organic produce, you'll find it here. Little Five Points is surrounded by the Inman Park, Edgewood, Candler Park and Poncey-Highland neighborhoods of Atlanta. Grand victorian homes have been renovated and surround the commercial hub of the Little Five Points area. Little 5 Points is also the home of the 7 Stages Theatre and Variety Playhouse, two excellent arts venues. As with most neighborhoods in Atlanta, Little 5 Points offers easy access to downtown, and all forms of public transportation.
