Coconut Grove has a rather bohemian feel to it … with an artsy and aid-back vibe. Living in Coconut Grove, especially in the South Grove, your backyard will be the tree canopied restaurants and shops that make up the heart of the Grove. There are bike paths and meandering streets and lush tropical foliage. You’ll have easy access to both the beaches and to Miami International Airport. There are a number of top private schools scattered throughout the Grove. Styles of the homes vary considerably from a cottage adjacent to a Mediterranean villa to historic landmark properties right up the road from a more modern construction. Architectural styles run the gamut. The Grove is home to many art festivals plenty of outdoor cafes, and a smattering of bookstores, fresh markets, and plenty of charm. If you are looking for history and culture, you can find it in the Coconut Grove City Hall and the 110 year old Barnacle - the historic home of Ralph Munroe, Commodore and pioneer. The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens offer 10 acres of formal gardens and an Italian style villa built in 1916 by James Deering. You can also find the Miami Museum of Science & Space Transit Planetarium with family friendly exhibits and light shows. Because of the history, art and entertainment, Coconut Grove is a sought after Miami neighborhood. You'll find charming single family homes and condos.

Coral Gables has ranked among the top zip codes in the country for years, offering a well-established, rather ‘manicured’, pristine European-style community with Old Spanish style homes. Coral Gables is home to the University of Miami. There’s a center of town (Coral Way/Miracle Mile/Le Jeune teaming with art galleries, theatre, bars, shops, restaurants, cafes, upscale shopping, public parks. The streets are named, and quaint. There’s a trolley that runs (free of charge) in the Gables. There are top A-rated schools (both public and private), and an architectural style that stems basically from it’s Mediterranean roots and the influence of George Merrick. Finally, you don't want to miss Miracle Mile with outdoor cafes, unique shopping and gorgeous Mediterranean style architecture. This is a lovely Miami neighborhood and a wonderful place to live as a young couple or as a single.

Pinecrest ranks high on the list of those coming to South Florida who want top schools, large lots, and newer construction. Pinecrest is known for the calibre of private and public schools, and as such is quite appealing to families relocating to South Florida. Not all that many years ago, Pinecrest consisted of open land dotted with avocado and mango orchards. The vast majority of the homes in Pinecrest each have a swimming pool. The Pinecrest and Palmetto schools are universally acknowledged as being some of the best in the state. There’s not really a ‘center’ of town in the Village of Pinecrest; not one where you’d wander and window shop, going from restaurants to shops, but there are pockets along the main road that runs north and south ofUS 1 or South Dixie Highway as it’s known; with weekend farm fresh markets, restaurants, strip malls.

South Miami which is nestled between Coral Gables and Pinecrest and adjacent to the University of Miami, has a charming center of town with a University town feel streets, shopping and dining. In each of the towns and villages, you’ll find nearby supermarkets, parks, playgrounds, golf, tennis courts (both private/public), an array of after school programs and activities (art, soccer, baseball), libraries, swimming programs. With a tepid climate and easy lifestyle, South Miami makes for a great place to live! South Miami spans about 2.3 square miles and houses approximately 11,000 people. This is a neighborhood that is largely native born and very focused on redevelopment and growth. downtown has been recently revitalized and new sources of revenue are being created every day.

Key Biscayne is an exclusive and wealthy enclave in Miami. Actually Key Biscayne is a barrier island that is four miles long and two miles wide. Key Biscayne is situated opposite Coconut Grove and Brickell Avenue on one side and Miami Beach on the other. Key Biscayne is connected to the mainland by a causeway and the City of Miami is about 7 miles away. This Miami neighborhood currently houses about 10,000 people in approximately 1,300 single family Miami homes and over 5,000 multi family units, or condos. Key Biscayne has local schools through grade 8 and then students and Coral Gables Senior High School. This is an amazingly beautiful Miami neighborhood with gorgeous park areas and incredible views of downtown Miami and the Atlantic Ocean.

South Beach is truly one of the playgrounds of the rich and famous. It features hot night spots, casual and elegant fine dining, hotels and Miami condos. South Beach is also the Miami neighborhood that features some of the best examples of Art Deco architecture in the U.S. There are terrific boutiques, shopping and people watching opportunities all over South Beach. And don't forget the beach itself! There are miles of fine white sand and sparkling ocean that draw thousands of sun worshippers each year. South Beach is known as the quintessential Miami neighborhood. South Beach may be just the right Miami neighborhood for you.
