"Houston takes top honors in a newly released list of the "10 Best Cities for Bachelors," according to the results of a Rent.com e-mail survey of 1,000 single adult men.

"Considered an "all-around attractive city to live and play," the largest city in Texas boasts "affordability and enticing first date hotspots" as well as a large dating pool.

"Rounding out the list are Chicago, San Antonio, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. Rent.com notes that many of the cities on the list attract single men and women alike."
